Chemmart/Terry White merger complete

The merger between Chemmart, an EBOS Group business, and Terry White Group (TWG) was formally completed on 31 October 2016, creating one of Australia’s largest retail pharmacy networks.

EBOS Group now holds just over a 50% shareholding in TWG which is managing the new combined entity.

The new name for the retail pharmacies – Terry White Chemmart – and the new branding has also been revealed and will be rolled out across the network in the coming months.

EBOS Group CEO Patrick Davies said the Terry White Chemmart network would have approximately 500 member pharmacies with a combined turnover of A$2 billion..

“The size and scope of this new business will enable it to be more competitive with stronger marketing cut-through, improved service levels and a focus on value for money health services,” Mr Davies said.

EBOS Group will consolidate the results of TWG in its financial statements from 1 November 2016.
