Floradix agreement opens further expansion opportunities
Endeavour Consumer Health (Endeavour) has acquired Nature’s Synergy Pty Ltd in a move that brings with it the Australian distribution rights to the range of vitamins and minerals manufactured by German company Salus-Haus, including the popular Floradix product line.
Floradix is already distributed through New Zealand by EBOS, the parent company of Endeavour, where the product is a market leader. Floradix Iron is the number one iron supplement in New Zealand.
Andrew Vidler, Executive General Manager of Endeavour Consumer Health, said the acquisition of Nature’s Synergy offered significant opportunities for further growth in the Australian market.
“Floradix is a product with which we’re already very familiar because of our distribution arrangements in New Zealand,” he said.
“It’s a very good product range that has performed strongly, and we are looking forward to the opportunity to significantly expand its presence in the Australian market.
“The acquisition of Nature’s Synergy is complementary to our existing business and continues Endeavour’s pathway of growth into the consumer health markets for New Zealand and Australia via an expanded product portfolio.”
The acquisition of Nature’s Synergy completed on 31 March.
